摘要
Many uncertainties exist in software development process, and they bring risks to the project success. So it is important to offer a tool for identifying, assessing, managing the project risk, and obtaining a reasonable project schedule plan based on risk analysis. This paper develops a software project management simulation model. The six main risk factors are selected and their potential impact to project duration is simulated by using Monte Carlo method. The simulation model can help project managers to prepare risk management plan and schedule plan effectively and efficiently.
