摘要
An alternate way of examining the response of geologic materials to explosive loading is presented. The method provides a fast practical way of estimating the predominate frequency of response of any given material to an explosive source and means to determine how that frequency decreases with distance. Also provided is the ability to determine the particular type of rock in which the explosive was detonated and how much faster the velocity signal decays with distance than does the displacement. Results of small scale tests conducted at the University of Maryland along with results from model tests conducted at Stanford Research Institute and from nuclear testing at the Nevada Test Site are used to present the method.
