摘要：

A field experiment was conducted during the rabi season 2006 on sandy loam soil to study the effect of bio-fertilizers VAM and PSB along with their graded dose of fertilizers on growth, yield attributes and yield of french bean. The results revealed that the application of 75 per cent RDF (Recommended Dose of Fertilizer) + VAM (Vescicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae)@ 2 kg ha(-1) + PSB (Phosphorus Solubulizing Bactiria) @ 2.5 kg ha(-1) significantly increased the plant height (cm), number of branches per plant, leaf area (cm(2)) and dry weight (g) of plant in the variety Arka suvidha (V-2) followed by selection 9 and Arka komal. The number of clusters per plant, number of pods per plant, number of pods per cluster, number of seeds per pod, 100 seed weight (g), pod length, pod yield per plant (g) and pod yield per hectare (t/ha) was significantly increased by the application of 75 per cent RDF + VAM @ 2 kg ha(-1) + PSB @ 2.5 kg ha(-1) in Arka suvidha (V-2) variety.
