摘要
Microarray technology enables massive parallel determination and multiple measurement of a variety of binding events to be performed simultaneously. Microarryas usually consist of many microscopic spots, each containing identical molecules, where the number of spots can vary from less than one hundred to several hundred thousand. Enzymatic reactions on immobilized substrates or templates can also be observed by the use of microarrays. An experiment to study the time course of hybridization and enzyme activity in three spots out of an array of 66 shows that the DNA without the recognition sequence is immobilized in spots where the intensities remain unchanged at high levels.
