Synthesis and microwave dielectric properties of (1-x)Mg0.95Ni0.05Ti0.98Zr0.02O3-xSrTiO3 ceramics

摘要
Ni based MgTiO3 i.e. Mg0.95Ni0.05TiO3 possess excellent microwave dielectric properties with epsilon(r) 17.2, Q (u) f (o) 180,000 GHz and tau(f) -45 ppm/A degrees C. Partial substitution of Ti by Zr increased the Q (u) f (o) from 180,000 to 195,855 GHz with tau(f) -46 ppm/A degrees C. The tau(f) was tuned through zero by mixing with SrTiO3. In the present study, a near zero tau(f) 3 ppm/A degrees C with epsilon(r) 20.3 and high Q (u) f (o) 85,430 GHz could be achieved for x = 0.04 i.e. for a mixture of 96 % of Mg0.95Ni0.05Ti0.98Zr0.02O3 and 4 % of SrTiO3.
