The roles of nanostructured network derived from organically modified silicate encapsulating the redox mediator along with manipulating the nano-structured network are reported. Oneway this generates electrocatalytic sites and the otherway contributes in electo-synthesis of polyaniline composite with variable redox properties and microstructure. The nanostuctured network of the ormosil was manipulated by introduction of a well-known redox mediator prussian blue. Polyaniline (PAni) with excellent electrochemical behavior was grown within these modified electrodes and the process of electropolymerization was found as a function of redox mediator's characteristics. The resulting polymers were analyzed by cyclic voltammetry and spectro-elcctrochemistry and the results again provided remarkable dependence on the property of redox mediator and palladium content justifying similar conclusion. Further, the present ormosil was also used to study the oxidation of hydrogen peroxide. The effect of electrocatalysis was also studied by introducing palladium within nano-structured network.
