摘要
The mechanical properties and microstructure of Ti-6Al-4V alloy after 800 degrees C thermal cycling were studied. The results show that the cycling times have influence on the properties of the alloy obviously; the strength and plasticity decrease with increasing of the cycling times; however, the strength decreases more rapidly after 5 times cycling. The varieties of strength before 5 cycling times was due to the reduction of beta phase, the decrease of strengths between 5 and 100 cycling times were affected by the microstructure and oxidation, and 100 to 200 cycling times were dominated by oxidation.
