The present article deals with the place the human body occupies in the configuration of personal identity according to Gabriel Marcel We treat the subject of identity and the place in It that is occupied by the difficult relationship between "I" and my body, taking into consideration the current situation of this debate In this way we seek to throw light on the signs of identity of our so clay which lives vehemently the project of being oneself and the relationship between being and the body
