摘要：
Immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome is a complication of antiretroviral therapy in advanced human immunodeficiency virus infection and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. We describe the uncommon presentation of undiagnosed Kaposi sarcoma after antiretroviral therapy initiation. Kaposi sarcoma can manifest after initiation of antiretroviral therapy and may necessitate cytotoxic chemotherapy.
