Interconnect power consumption analysis for MCM based on S-domain RLC transmission line model

摘要
With the increasing of system operating frequency and expanding of circuit scale, interconnect parameter of MCM has increasingly impacted on circuit performance. As a result interconnect effect has been paid much attention. Most of the analysis has been focused on the timing aspects of interconnect, while little efforts were given to power consumption study. Based on the RLC transmission line model, this paper figures out MCM interconnect power consumption equation, and finally the computer simulation results are presented to verify the theoretical analysis.
