摘要
This paper presents some experimental and numerical results about the presence of air bubbles as tracers in a highly turbulent Couette-Taylor flow with a superimposed axial flow and a top free surface. It appears that the air bubbles stand near the inner rotating cylinder at every alternate boundary, corresponding to the outflow streamlines. (C) Academie des sciences/Elsevier Paris.
