摘要
Densified multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWNT)/TiN composites with various MWNTs contents were successfully obtained through a spark plasma sintering (SI'S) method. The influences of MWNT content on the densification of composites and mechanical properties were studied. The addition of the nanotubes can promote the sintering process of the composite. In the presence of only 0.1 wt% MWNTs, the densified MWNT/TiN composite exhibits the highest increase of about 31% in fracture toughness compared with pure TiN ceramic.
