摘要：
A novel organic-inorganic hybrid compound [Cu(imi)(2)](4)[gamma-Mo8O26] (1) has been synthesized from hydrothermal reaction of imidazone, MoO3 center dot H2O and CuSO4-5H(2)O in H2O solution and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Crystallographic data for 1: monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a= 12.990(3) angstrom, b= 13.915(3) angstrom, c= 15.049(3) angstrom, beta = 108.24(3)degrees,Z=4, V=2583.4(9) angstrom(3). The compound consists of the first centrosymmetric gamma-octamolybdate-supported complex [Cu(imi)(2)](4)[gamma-Mo8O26]. TG analysis, IR and XPS spectrum of the compound were also studied.
