摘要：
A model for two-pion production in pion-induced reactions including the excitation of baryon resonances is presented and applied to the recent Brookhaven data. The impact of the Theta(+) (1540) resonance on differential and integrated cross sections for kaon reactions on nuclei is analysed using the Julich kaon-nucleon model. An upper limit for the width of the pentaquark candidate of 1 MeV results.
