摘要
Since Rn-222 is continuously generated by the decay of Ra-226, it is difficult to analyze Rn-222 in water containing Ra-226. To analyze Ra-226, a large amount of water is passed through a manganese fiber column to adsorb radium, and then radium delayed coincidence counting or gamma-ray spectroscopy is performed approximately four weeks later. A combination technique of radon-emanation and pair-measurement was tested to analyze Ra-226 and Rn-222 in water. Ra-226 and Rn-222 were accurately analyzed within approximately 8 d.
