摘要
Series of short amino terminal modified cationic peptides were designed and synthesized. All of the synthesized compounds were tested against gram-positive as well as gram-negative bacterial strain. Some of the compounds exhibit potent antibacterial activity and no hemolytic activity even at high dose level (1000 mu g/mL) in mammalian erythrocytes was observed. (c) 2007 Elsevier Ltd.
