摘要
This research addresses the theme Strategic Thinking, its purpose was to analyze strategic thinking as a basic tool in public and private organizations It was based mainly on the theoretical approaches of Thomson, Gamble, Peteraf and Strickland, (2012), Montoya, (2015) and other authors versed in the subject of strategicthinking, such as). Garrido (2.007), Venegas (2009), Gutierrez (2010), Garcia, (2010), among others. Documentary type that considers the definition of strategic thinking, as well as the elements of strategic thinking present in organizations. It concludes by highlighting the importance of putting strategic thinking into practice to identify, analyze and evaluate the key elements for the success of the organization from the environment and its intrinsic conditions; as for example, when they design and review the structure, mission and vision of the organization.
