摘要
A Washington-based, political film may critique the politics of its time on one level and, yet, buy into those politics on another. One such film, No Way Out (1987), from the time of Ronald Reagan's presidency, reveals characteristic contradictions between liberal, anti-Reaganite Cold War politics and conservative, traditionalist gender roles.
