摘要
The diffusion coefficients' concentration dependence in binary metal alloys and its estimation using Vignes-Birchenall correlation formula is discussed. It was shown that the Vignes-Birchenall correlation formula leads to an empirical relation for tracer diffusion coefficients adequate describing concentration dependence of these coefficients in binary systems where solubility is unlimited. Advantages and shortcomings of empirical relationships for concentration dependence of diffusion coefficients in binary metal systems are analysed.
