In this letter, we propose closed-form Doppler power spectral densities (DPSDs) for vehicle-to-vehicle channels in the presence of roadside scatterers (RSSs). Our analysis is based on a geometrical 1D RSS model, which considers two line segments on both roadsides to represent RSSs. To obtain the exact DPSD, we use an indirect method exploiting Hoeher's theorem. Then, angular approximations are used to obtain its closed-form solutions. We show that the new solutions are the scaled, shifted, and truncated sums of the cubic Jakes' DPSD and also close to measurement data.
