摘要
Charging plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) lead to gradual degradation of battery capacity and, hence, pose a hidden cost for each charge cycle. This article proposes a novel framework to minimize the total cost of PEV charging with consideration of both battery degradation and electricity cost. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach increases the cycle life by 46% compared to a standard charging scheme.-Zili Shao, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University © 2018 IEEE.
