摘要
This work presents the performance analysis and the design of an improved controller based on quadratic boost converter with a single switch(QBCSS) designed for solar photovoltaic systems. On the one hand, we will compare the traditional DC/DC boost converter often used in photovoltaic systems against the QBCSS on the basis of a high conversion ratio. The purpose of this comparison is to demonstrate the benefit of employing the quadratic boost converters with high voltage gain in PV systems. In the other hand, the effectiveness of MPPT approaches in PV system through a QBCSS is investigated using P&O and Fuzzy Logic (FL) based MPPT controllers. The findings results demonstrate that the FLC based MPPT regulator produces the best and most stable output when evaluated to the standard P&O method in the MATLAB/Simulink.
