A new mechanistic approach for cancer fighting of resveratrol

摘要
Recently, the data about cAMP signaling in cancer cells have shown that its intracellular increase in the presence of genotoxic stress can promote cellular survival and chemotherapy resistance. Besides, resveratrol, the most widely known polyphenol, has been introduced as a cAMP increasing agent that can help in terms of cancer cell survival. So, a new mechanistic approach was considered for the known cancer fighting properties of resveratrol.
