摘要：
Sparse representation of signals has gained significant importance in the recent times due to its wide range of applications in diverse fields. H-RE is introduced, a new measure of sparsity, and that H-RE satisfies all the attributes and properties which any sparsity measure should satisfy are mathematically proved.
