摘要：

This paper will compare some of the characteristics of different forging machines with emphasis on screw presses, hammers and hammer conversions. The special features of LASCO machines are described and how they contribute to forging efficiency and economy; in particular, direct drive of screw presses with frequency control, hydraulic hammer drives and energy conservation.
