摘要
The effect of calcium addition on the adsorbed amount of citrate anions on the AKP53 Al2O3 particles was studied. It was found that the effect is only minimal. The adsorption of citrate on alumina particles is about 5.70 μg citrate anion/m2 Al2O3. The added calcium also adsorbed the remaining citrate anions in the solutions. These results enable to have a better understanding of the TIF gelation mechanism and to improve the gelation rate of the TIF slurries.
