POWER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT IN A GRID CONNECTED VOLTAGE SOURCE INVERTER USING THE CONCEPT OF VIRTUAL SYNCHRONOUS MACHINE

摘要
In this paper, a combined control strategy for grid connected converters is proposed. A synchronous machine is emulated for synchronization and power sharing of the converter with the grid. In order to compensate the influence of grid voltage harmonics, a Proportional+Resonant controller is applied to harmonic compensation. Simulation results are presented to corroborate the theory.
