摘要
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is used to monitor the environmental conditions in the deployed area under sectors like military, health, agriculture, disaster areas, etc. The wireless sensor nodes are very small in size and are powered by a battery having limited lifetime. Hence to achieve longevity and reliability, the foremost concern while designing protocols and applications is minimizing energy consumption and maximizing network lifetime. In this paper we review the popular energy efficient Routing protocols and its strategies to consume the nodes energy efficiently and hence increase the life time of the wireless sensor network.
