摘要：

A new design for the compact single-feed dual-frequency operation of a slotted square microstrip antenna is demonstrated. The antenna generates two distinct operating frequencies with different polarization planes and broad radiation characteristics. The antenna has the added advantage of an antenna size reduction as large as similar to 61 and 45% in comparison to the standard rectangular patch for the above two frequencies.
