摘要
Optimised design, construction, maintenance, upgrading and renovation of rail tracks for high-speed trains require a close co-operation between railway- and geotechnical engineering. The paper considers natural ground, sub-ballast, ballast, or ballast-less pavement, sleepers and rail a structural unit where all members interact. Pros and contras of conventional sleeper-ballast systems and ballast-less paved tracks are discussed. Multi-layered half space theories provide more realistic results than the conventional subgrade reaction models (Winkler springs). A new analytical rail track model, validated by in-situ measures is presented. Finally, factors influencing the maintenance of track bed are described.
