Research on accelerating the Monte Carlo method in radiant space cooler calculation

摘要
The Monte Carlo method is an effective method to calculate exchange factors of radiant space cooler. The disadvantage of the method is its long execution time and calculation results become more accurate as more packets are included and the calculation time becomes longer synchronously. The present work focuses on how to accelerate the Monte Carlo method to reduce the disadvantage in radiant space cooler calculation. The improved method of location can avoid iteration process, the self-adaptive technique can reduce the exceeded ideal required packets number some extent, and parallel processing can use more CPU to calculate exchange factors and accelerate the computation process. The results show they are effective methods to be used to accelerate the Monte Carlo method in radiant space cooler calculation.
