摘要
We have studied a proximity focusing ring imaging Cherenkov counter with aerogel radiator, as a possible upgrade option of particle identification system in future e(+)e(-) B factory experiments. In this paper, we introduce the concept of the detector, report results of the first beam test and discuss future prospects. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
