摘要
Four varieties Madhuri, VL -16, Kiran and Surya of baby corn (Zea mays L.) were evaluated at three nitrogen levels of 60, 120 and 180 kg/ha during khalif (wet) seasons of 2006 and 2007 at Orissa to work out suitable variety and nitrogen requirement. The variety VL -16 with nitrogen level of 120 kg/ha yielded maximum baby corn of 1.19 t/ha and it was followed by application of 120 kg N/ha to variety Madhuri. Maximum fodder yield of 16.09 and 16.93 t/ha was obtained with application of 180 kg N/ha during 2006 and 2007 respectively.
