Room-temperature Violet-blue emission for SrZrO3 Nanocrystals Synthesized by Using the Combustion Method

摘要
We investigated the photoluminescence property of SrZrO3 nanocrystals synthesized by the using combustion method and varying the degree of crystallinity by using high-temperature annealing. In contrast to the bulk case, the SrZrO3 nanocrystals were found to show a strong violet-blue emission even at room temperature. As the crystallinity was enhanced and the grain sizes of the nanocrystals were increased, the violet-blue emission was gradually suppressed. This behavior implies that crystalline disorder is the main origin of the violet-blue emission from SrZrO3 nanocrystals.
