摘要
Nickel zinc ferrite Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 (NZFO) ceramics were prepared by the co-precipitation method. The temperature dependence of dielectric permittivity of the samples has been investigated over a broad temperature range at selected frequencies. An extremely remarkable dielectric relaxation behavior was observed with its degree of relaxation Delta T-m similar to 155 K, which was deciphered in detail by an effect between n-type and p-type carriers with temperature rising. Further studying the relaxation mechanism by employing the Arrhenius equation, two activation energy values of similar to 0.52 and 0.30 eV in different temperature regions were calculated, respectively. Furthermore, the superparamagnetic property was observed in the magnetic hysteresis loop. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
