A novel channel estimation method for ultra-wideband communications based on OSCR receiver

摘要
Due to the extremely large bandwidth in UWB communications, traditional channel estimation methods require very high sampling rate, which is very difficult to realize. In this paper, we propose a novel method based on Orthogonal Sinusoidal Correlation Receiver (OSCR) for ultra wide-band communications. Simulation results are given under single-path and multi-path environments. The results show that this novel method has a comparable performance to traditional ways even in ISI impaired channel, while it greatly reduces the sampling rate.
