摘要
In this paper, we described a positioning system based on radio frequency identification ( RFID) which is suitable for nursing home. Received Signal Strength Indication ( RSSI) positioning technology is used to realize indoor location, Global Positioning System ( GPS) technology and General Packet Radio Service ( GPRS) communication technology are adopted as a supplement for outdoor location. This system realizes the location and related data uploading when unexpected incidents happen. The main content of this article is the hardware design of the system, especially RF modules, antennas, and the construction of indoors locating network.
