摘要
In this work we introduce a robust and consistent discrete adjoint solver that has been embedded into the open-source multiphysics framework SU2 by exploitation of the fixed-point structure of the flow solver. At inviscid and turbulent optimization test cases we demonstrate the capabilities of the implementation and compare it with the continuous adjoint method and the common frozen eddy viscosity assumption.
