摘要
This study aims to explore the approaches to improving the effectiveness of college ideological and political education by taking advantage of the micro-blog. As a newly-emerging network medium, the micro-blog has drawn much attention rapidly since it was developed, and now the micro-blog has been a popular network tool for college students. Consequently, the traditional college ideological and political education is facing great challenges and new opportunities at the same time. This paper holds the idea that to make use of the micro-blog in college ideological and political education we need to pay close attention to the following three issues urgently: being fully aware of the impacts of the micro-blog; discriminating and concluding the specific aspects of the challenges which the micro-blog has posed to college ideological and political education; based on the interactive character of the micro-blog, taking good advantage of the official micro-blog of colleges in order to establish a micro-blog platform for the ideological and political education.
