摘要
The ultimate loads of composite beams are subjected to a wide range of conditions. Composite beams in buildings are usually designed using strength condition. This approach inherently assumes that the shear connectors have an unlimited slip capacity. In engineering, the excessive slip of shear connectors will arouse the failure of the beams. We assume that composite beam is composed of the brittle and ductile material elements and the ductile material element has. yield. The equivalent stiffness method is used to determine the slip of shear. connectors, then the ultimate moment of the beam is obtained.
