摘要
Miscibility of cholesterol in dimyristoyl phosphatidylserine (DMPS) bilayers was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray scattering. The onset of cholesterol phase separation as detected by X-ray diffraction is at the molar ratio DMPS:cholesterol of 2:1 and 1.7:1 in the gel and in the liquid crystalline states of the phospholipid, respectively.
