摘要
A study on PM2.5 was conducted in a metropolis in Central China from July 2006 to July 2007. The PM2.5 samples were collected every sixth day at three sites, one industrial, one urban and one urban-industrial site. These samples were pre-treated and both organic and elemental carbon were measured based on TOT method. The result shows that, OC concentrations are much higher than EC at all sites; EC concentrations at urban sites are higher than that at background site; OC and EC are likely attributable to common dominant sources of combustion such as coal burning in Wuhan. This study will help to make reduction strategies for PM2.5 in China.
