摘要
This paper presents a static analysis of Functionally Graded (FG) beams under thermal environment using Finite Element Method (FEM). The behavior of the FG beams under thermo-mechanical loading is studied. The material properties of the FG beam are considered to be both temperature-dependent and position-dependent and are graded in the thickness direction according to power law. The Deflections are obtained for the functionally graded beams subjected to both thermal and mechanical loads for various boundary conditions. For this purpose, simulation models are developed in the commercially available ANSYS software and numerical results are obtained including the influence of the grading of the materials as well as temperature and boundary conditions.
