Numerical simulations on interacting flow fields of high temperature jet impinging on the wall

摘要
High temperature jet impinging on the wall sometimes become quite serious problems in launching the rocket from the ground. Several researches have been conducted by some authors(1-3)) However, the flow mechanism have not been revealed sufficiently. The interacting flow fields of supersonic jet impinging on the wall are numerically simulated. The displacement between the nozzle exit and the wall is varied and the effects of the displacement on the interacting flow field are investigated numerically. The calculated flow patterns and pressure distributions show good agreements with experiments.
