We used Tissue Pulsatility Imaging (TPI) to compare the Brain Tissue Pulsatility (BTP) in depressed (n = 11) and non-depressed (n = 13) type-2 diabetic non-demented patients aged 50 years and older. Both maximum and mean BTP were significantly decreased in depressed diabetic subjects compared to non-depressed diabetic subjects. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
