We present preliminary results obtained with a method permitting the determination of the conversion depth (DOI) in a position-sensitive, multi-layer gamma-ray or neutron detector making use of a stack of Gas Electron Multipliers and converter foils. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
