For the differential equation u '' = f (t, u) in regular as well as in singular cases there are established optimal sufficient conditions of existence for solutions satisfying nonlocal boundary conditions of the type integral(b)(a) u((i-1))(s)d phi(i)(s) = c(i) (i = 1, 2).
