The relationship between personality traits and sexual variety seeking

The aim of study investigation of relationship between personality factors and sexual variety seeking. The statistical society include all the married and single male students in all the academic levels at the Tehran city universities in Iran, among whom 140 were sampled of 20-35 age group in accessible manner. Two questionnaires were used in this study. In order to measure the personality features the NEO-FFI personality questionnaire (containing 60 questions) was used, In order to measure sexual variety-seeking the sexual variety-seeking scale designed by the researcher et al. Such questionnaire includes 45 questions was used. After e data analized, result showed that there is a meaningful relation between extraversion and sexual variety-seeking with a reliability 95% (r= 0.238), There was found no meaningful relation between the openness to experience and sexual variety seeking (r= 0.006). There was observed a meaningful relation between conscientousness and sexual variety-seeking (r= 0.252) and there is not meaningful relation between neuroticism and sexual variety seeking (r = -0.069) and agreeability and sexual variety seeking (r= 0.022).
