摘要
An effective method for the analysis of asymmetric effects is presented in this paper. The method is a kind of "direction derivative" technique and can be easily applied to predict whether the structural asymmetry increases or decreases the flutter speed of an aircraft with external stores. As a result, the varying tendency of the flutter speed can be obtained, which is very useful to the designers. The validity and effectiveness of the proposed method are proved analytically.
