The impact of haemophilia on the success of total hip arthroplasty

摘要：
We present the results of 34 total hip arthroplasties performed, on haemophiliac patients, between 1983 and 2005. The haematological diagnoses and management are discussed, emphasizing their impact on keeping complication levels to a minimum. The orthopaedic diagnoses and treatment methods are also highlighted, discussing the survivor-ship and reasons for their failures.
